Little heavy
For the price is not so bad but I found it a little on the heavy side. I use this rod when i go fishing with people who have no fishing gear so that they dont have to borrow my more expensive set ups. Good for a starter kit too.
Great light tackle rod
I use this Shimano rod for large mouth bass in southeastern North Carolina. It's paired with a Shimano Sahara reel with 10lb Power Pro braid. I love the light feel and the ultra balanced setup. The short style handle is good for one handed casting and use in small boats or kayaks. I would highly recommend this rod for the light tackle angler.
