The new Monarch Riflescope Series features Monarch Eye Box Technology, a huge ocular with a generous field of view that provides 4-times magnification zoom range and four inches of constant eye relief. Quick-focus eyepiece allows for a crisp, detailed sight picture. Magnification reference numbers are viewable from the shooter's position thanks to Smooth Zoom Control. Standard on all Long Range Monarch riflescopes, Nikon's easy-to reach dial allows you to quickly focus from a shooting position. Enhanced Mount Ring Spacing provides mounting to virtually any rifle action regardless of caliber, even magnum length actions. (2.5-10x50 may require extension rings in some cases). Ultra ClearCoat Optical System is the basis of the new Monarch scope. It consists of superfine Eco-Glass lens glass and Nikon's proprietary anti-reflection multi-coating technology that boost light transmission up to its theoretical maximum - 95% One-Piece Main Body Tubes. The scope is milled from aircraft-grade aluminum for minimum weight and maximum strength and durability, and is sunshade adaptable. Monarch Riflescopes are waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof. New Monarch 5-20x44 and 6-24x50 models feature Interchangeable Turret Technology with 1/8-MOA adjustments and include low profile adjustments w/caps, target-style windage and elevation adjustment knobs and caps. Monarch 5-20x44 and 6-24x50 models include a sunshade.Whether you're shooting varmints, hunting in the first or last light of day, or simply want big power, the Monarch 6-24x50SF riflescope is an ideal choice. The riflescope offers such features as a one-piece, 1-inch main body tube; a creative Eyebox design with a huge ocular that provides a 4x magnification range and 4 inches of constant eye relief without sacrificing the field of view; an ultra ClearCoat system for 95 percent light transmission; and fully multicoated, super-high-performance lenses. After the lenses are cut and polished, Nikon coats them with multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds. The compounds serve to boost light transmission, improve contrast (to pull game out of its surroundings), deliver true color rendition and flare-free viewing, and enhance the overall image quality. The scope's fine crosshair reticle, meanwhile, helps give you an accurate bead on your target regardless of the distance.
In addition, the riflescope is prepared for years of reliable service thanks to its 100-percent waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof housing. The scope is O-ring sealed, oxygen purged, and nitrogen filled to prevent fogging, while the waterproof performance is guaranteed, even with the windage and elevation caps off. Other details include a quick focus eyepiece; a locking side-focus parallax adjustment; interchangeable turret technology with target-style windage and elevation adjustment knobs and caps; enhanced ring spacing that allows you to mount the scope on virtually any rifle; and a unique zoom control with rearward facing numbers. The riflescope carries Nikon's full lifetime warranty.

The big dog on the block.
I bought this for my Remington 700 VTR 22-250. Quick and easy mounting with quality rings. I did a mechanical zero and I was on the paper at 50 and 100 yards. Once I sighted it in for 100 I moved to 150, adjusted and then settled on 200 for a perfect zero. After a year of shooting it is still holding that same spot. The scope comes with 3 sizes of turrets, I like the small ones, but the large tactical ones look really good. Every time I get it out other people stop and gawk at the scope and everyone who shoots it loves the clarity. One of the guys was reading the Gatorade nutrition facts off our targets at 100 yards. I was able to hit consistently at 300 yards. At first I thought the fine cross-hair was too fine, but once you get to 200+ anything else would be too big. I bought it directly from Amazon and it arrived in perfect condition.

A great scope for a great price.
I put this scope on my Remington Model 700 chambered in Rem. 7mm Mag with a picatiny rail and Leupold medium rings. Zeroed at 300 yards and its dead on. Nikon makes great optics at a fraction of the price with a great warranty and customer service that is second to none.
Happy with the scope
Clear at all magnifications. As good as all of my more expensive scopes. Have used it for about 200 rounds. No problems. Great scope
