Adjustable rail = 2 piece rail
The rail has a decent finish and appears sturdy. I did not realize that the "adjustable top rail" portion of the product title means that the main rail that attaches to the gun is in two separate pieces. I was planning on not using the tri-rail but you have to since it holds the front and back section of the main rail together. Great design if that's what you are after but, if you want a one-piece rail, you need to purchase the other Aim Sports rail.

top rail piece of crap.
Recieved an empty package in the mail,all paperwork was there but no top rail. Called and they shipped a new one with little hesitation. Finally recieved the new one and had to cut down the front pin Parr of the rail and redrill a new hole to fit my ak.product is very study but went out today didn't even make it through 60 rounds and it broke at the bolt that holds it down. Had to fabricate a Part to hold it to stock out of a washer. Not happy with the quality. We shall see how it holds up with the new holddown.
Not what I expected
Product was shipped promptly. When I installed this product, it did not fit without adjusting. The shape did not contour my top cap, in fact it pushed down the cap when stock mounting screw was tightened. Even with the Screw tightened, there was a significant side to side wobble when the scope was installed. The mounting block is so high that I can't zero my scope- elevation is 1/2" higher than zero on my bore sighter. Not even close. I tried to remove the top block and install the scope lower, but that can't be done. The bottom rail is two pieces and needs the block for adjustment and to hold it together- unlike some of the other models that I was shopping at the time I picked out this one. I thought this product would be a nice replacement to the side mounts, but it requires taking out the stock screw to field strip the weapon. Not what I was looking for.
